Combining 700FP down in low-bulk stitch-through baffles with 2-layer, waterproof and windproof Pertex® Shield fabric, it’s built to keep you warm and dry on wild winter hikes. We’ve re-engineered its construction to make it more repairable than ever, and packed it with heat-retaining details such as a cosy neck baffle and close-fitting inner cuffs. With a longer length and regular fit for throwing on over other layers, the Valiance gives a reassuring, protective feel for striding out beneath the darkest skies.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
