Our retro-inspired Outpost Jacket makes a great midlayer or everyday fleece throughout the colder months. Made with shearling style, high pile Polartec® 300 it keeps you warm while regulating temperature, drying quickly, and effectively wicking sweat through your layers.
The high stretch, double-weave Matrix™ overlays give added protection across the shoulders, resisting light rain or snow and abrasion from pack straps. Stow essentials within easy reach with a pair of large, zipped hand pockets with sufficient space for a phone, a GPS, or other quick-grab valuables.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
