Whether you need a women’s everyday down jacket or a flexible mountain mid-layer, the upgraded Women’s Microlight Jacket is the new benchmark for accessible stash-and-grab down insulation.
The updated version of the classic Women’s Microlight Jacket now contains fully recycled down and fabrics. Built from 30D Pertex® Quantum ripstop nylon, its tough, breathable shell is now filled with GRS-certified P.U.R.E recycled 700 fill power down. It also features body-mapped micro and nano baffle stitch-through construction, helping ensure a better distribution of down for reliable core warmth without unnecessary bulk. Mountain-friendly features include a pair of large, harness-compatible zipped hand pockets, a close-fitting down-filled collar and soft, elasticated cuffs that fit easily over gloves. In addition to an easy-carry stuff sack, the Women’s Microlight Jacket also comes with a fresh design aesthetic to match its technical upgrades.
With its lightweight warmth and proven mountain credentials, the ultra-packable Women’s Microlight Jacket is as practical on city strolls as it is on alpine ascents.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use. See below for a general description of our fit categories:
Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
