Lightweight and low-bulk, it’s easy to layer and built to accompany you year-round. We’ve placed high-lofting 700FP down in body-mapped baffles, with smaller nano baffles under your arms for mobility, and larger micro baffles on your back, shoulders and front for optimised warmth where you need it. For the first time, the Microlight is constructed with Pertex® Quantum with NetPlus®, a fabric yarn made from fully traceable post-consumer recycled fishing nets. This soft-feel fabric is windproof, breathable, and will withstand getting dropped at the crag or stuffed in a pack. Highly versatile and a Rab bestseller, the Microlight is a down jacket you can live in, offering reassuring warmth and familiar refuge when you need it most.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
