Spares & Repairs
From the rugged ranges of Alaska to the vast expanses of the Arctic, the Batura Jacket is designed for expedition use at high altitude or in polar environments.
We recommend using this for:
The Batura is built to withstand tough conditions. Easily deflecting wind, rain, sleet or snow with a robust Pertex® Shield shell, fully taped for complete waterproof protection and 100% recycled to tread a little lighter. It has narrow boxwall baffles, which reduce weight and bulk while allowing the down to fully loft, trapping heat to keep you warm.
The features have been designed to help you operate more easily in extremely cold temperatures. The front zip is insulated and draught free, the inside mesh pockets are large enough to stuff in plenty gear or reach inside with bulky gloves on, and the hand pockets sit behind the insulation for plunging cold fingers when the temperature plummets. The hood can be adjusted and cinched in to seal out the wind and a stiff peak helps to improve visibility and protect your face. Whether you’re launching an expedition to a high altitude peak or exploring some of the world’s harshest environments, the Batura will keep you warm and dry.
Sustainability. It’s complicated. We’re helping you to make informed choices by giving you the raw data. Clear. Concise. Honest. We pledge to be transparent, showing you how our products are made, from which materials and where.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use. See below for a general description of our fit categories:
Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
