Skiing in subarctic temperatures promises featherlight snow and smooth powder turns, but you need serious insulation to make the most of it. This fully waterproof down jacket offers uncompromised warmth and protection for deep winter skiing and backcountry missions in cold regions, from the summits of Alaska to the northern reaches of Norway. Constructed with 2-layer Pertex® Shield waterproof technology, warm 700FP down, and down-infused sheet insulation for low-bulk mobility where you need it, it’s a match for any midwinter line.

  • TXdown® Gold down-infused synthetic sheet insulation in places where you need lower bulk and good mobility, such as over your helmet and in the sleeves.
  • Protects against powder and billowing spindrift with 2-layer Pertex® Shield fabric.
  • Keep out the bitter cold with the adjustable ski-helmet-compatible hood.
  • The zip-off powder skirt seals out the snow, even on a bail in deep powder.
  • Plenty of space for gloves, snacks, or sun cream in two hand and two chest pockets, plus a pass pocket on your lower arm.
  • Ditch heat on a boot pack with the underarm vents.
  • Two-way YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip with internal storm guard.
  • Sleeve articulation for improved fit and movement.

Women’s upper body sizing.

How to measure.

Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.

Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.

Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.

Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.

While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Fits

All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use.  See below for a general description of our fit categories:

Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.

Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.

Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.

Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
