Spares & Repairs
Ideal for day hikes and scrambles with an uncertain forecast, the Downpour Light Jacket offers the protection and breathability of our signature Proflex™ technology, in a lightweight, stashable package. Balancing low volume with high comfort even when you’re moving fast or slogging uphill, it’s protective in sudden rain yet light in your pack.
The supple 2.5-layer Proflex™ fabric is quiet and breathable, and has a soft, textured backer which is comfortable next to skin, so you can throw it on over a tee during a fleeting shower. With a streamlined design, it keeps features to a minimum, yet is equipped with everything you need for exploring beyond the treeline in fickle summer weather. The close-fitting hood can be adjusted around your crown and face with a single hand pull, and features a stiffened peak so that drizzle doesn’t restrict your vision. Seal out the elements using the low-profile hook and loop cuff adjustments, while the extended cuffs keep the wind off your hands, and the articulated sleeves allow a full range of arm movement. Access your essentials even when wearing a backpack thanks to the two pack-compatible zipped hand pockets.
Comfortable and packable, the Downpour Light Jacket is your new staple shell for any mountain day with unpredictable weather.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.

While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use. See below for a general description of our fit categories:
Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
