Filled with 500g of high quality 650 fill power Hydrophobic European Duck Down. Rab use Hydrophobic down in all their naturally filled sleeping bags, this fluorocarbon free treatment was developed in conjunction with Nikwax and although Hydrophobic Down is not waterproof it dries much faster, absorbs less water and retains loft far better than untreated down. This minimalist quilt offers enough warmth and comfort for valley use during the spring and summer seasons and features a YKK perimeter zip so you can convert it into a roomy single sleeping bag if you need a little extra cosiness; you can even zip two Wilderness quilts together to create a double sleeping bag.
Tough, yet lightweight nylon fabrics are used to contain all that gorgeous down, this super light material is easily compressible and durable and has densely woven fibres to ensure the highest levels of down proofing, wind resistance and heat loss to fully maximise the insulation. Constructed with stable and super light stitch through baffles its just like sleeping under your favourite down jacket.
Weighing in at 1113g and with a reasonable pack size (25x65cm) it is a touch of luxury that is definitely worth packing.
