On prolonged alpine tours, climbers benefit from the combination of shock-absorbent PU midsoles at the rear and rigid TPU torsion plates at the front of the foot to offer comfort and stability in equal measure. The anatomically adapted tongue construction prevents creases and folds from occurring that otherwise lead to compression and abrasion points on extended tours.
